Mouse Nibbles Program

Mouse Nibbles Program

We are feeding “The Hungriest of The Hungry” students in Pinellas County. We deliver to the schools non-perishable foods in unidentifiable bags each and every week.

The children receive one Mouse Nibbles bag each weekend of the year with an additional 3 to 5 bags for Thanksgiving, Spring break and over the Christmas vacation.

Baby Mouse Nibbles Program

Our New Venture! Feed Those Babies!

Can you imagine being plagued by hunger and too young to communicate your pain to your caregivers? Sadly, hunger plagues American infants and toddlers who are not receiving the nutrient rich formula necessary for their bodies and brains to develop and prepare them for growth milestones and school age successes throughout their childhood. The average cost of a 30 ounce canister of infant formula is $36.49 costing a family an average of $237 a month to feed just one infant. Imagine being unable to meet your child’s most basic need.

The Kind Mouse is thrilled to announce Baby Mouse Nibblesa mission to provide formula to chronically hungry babies in our local community.

Mice in Training Program

Mice In Training Program

Mice in Training is an annual training program for all children ages 5 to 12 interested in entrepreneurial charities and businesses. They run their own Board of Directors meetings, speak in public, raise awareness, pack food, and run food drives. Mice In Training develops the next generation of leaders.

We hope to teach these students while serving their community, to take a brand and make it a household name. These eager little mice will not only learn everything “Mouse”, but they will be influential in the community as public speakers teaching by example to their peers. We see the students as “The Voice of The Child.”

Our Kind Mouse hashtag, #kmkidsfeedingkids, represents the positive impact that our amazing kids have on the community. They are The Next Generation and we will all see their impact on solving the problem of food insecurities.

Mice Interns Program

Mice in Training graduate to be Mice Interns where they mentor their younger Mice In Training cohorts. Mice Interns is an annual training program for all children ages 13 to 18 interested in entrepreneurial charities and businesses. This program also includes a mandatory 40 hour unpaid summer intern program. Mice Interns truly become leaders.

Our Kind Mouse hashtag, #kmkidsfeedingkids, represents the positive impact that our amazing kids have on the community. They are The Next Generation and we will all see their impact on solving the problem of food insecurities.

Mice Interns Program

MOUSEVision Program

The MOUSEVision Program is a technical training program with its own mission to support the Kind Mouse by creating all of our awareness videos. All participants in the program must be Mice Interns. Through a series of ongoing training sessions, the kids who enroll in the program work with professionals to learn how to write, direct and produce videos geared toward real world marketing. The kids, of course, are focusing their learning on promoting the kindness and mission of the Kind Mouse. So they are learning life long skills with an immediate benefit.

Elks of Florida

ELKS MOUSE CALLS

Dan Masi and Gina Wilkins love both the ELKS and The Mouse. After many discussions their brainchild was born.  “ELKS Mouse Calls”  Through our partnership with the ELKS, this program is for children receiving free 6 month in-home occupational therapy from The ELKS.  After identifying a need, we drop ship Mouse Nibbles to the therapists’ homes who then bring the food to their therapy sessions.  As Gina likes to say, “A full tummy, a successful therapy”!  We like to think of ourselves as Mice with Antlers.  https://floridaelks.org/

Family Assistance Program

We help people who have experienced career loss in order to restore their dignity and re-establish their lives.

These are the unemployed long term career workers, displaced professionals and stalled entrepreneurs affected most by the economy. We have served over 275 families confidentially while they are re-establishing themselves. Through our 90 day program, we offer food and pet food to qualified applicants.
