I love being a part of the Kind Mouse because I like the idea of quietly making a big difference in children’s lives. I have three children of my own: two daughters and a son. One daughter works in Washington, D.C. another studies environmental sustainability at the University of Vermont and my son is a junior at St. Petersburg High School. We have a rescue mutt named Charlie who weighs about 60 pounds and always tries to sit with me even if I’m in a small chair.
I worked at the Tampa Bay Times for about 20 years. I had a parenting column called “Rookie Mom,” covered business and was editor of Bay magazine. I now have my own public relations and writing firm called SnowWrites.
